Most of us feel awkward talking about money; we came here for the art.
But if we want our passion to be our career, we have to learn how to make money from it.
In this Live Session we talk about how to negotiate budgets, how to set day-rates, and how to make sure that we make enough money to afford personal work and leisure time.
We run regular Live events exclusive to our members.
Members have the chance to post questions in advance that we’ll answer in the Live, and to ask questions in person throughout.
These can be anything from practical advice and industry tips, to how we get ideas and create new things, to suggestions for the school.
Each Live Session has a topic related to the industry to guide our conversation and your questions.

In our first Live Session we talked about finding your own style, covering how we started working as a studio and how we created a unique visual universe.
Student questions related to the topic and led us to an interesting conversation about what’s behind a recognisable work.
We reviewed portfolios and found common mistakes that might confuse people visiting a website, including being unclear about what you do or not having in-depth explanations on projects.
Our second Live Session features special guest, dina Amin, joining us in person.
We will be talking about how to turn a passion into a business.
Growing your business is about much more than just improving your art (although that’s essential!). It includes management, marketing, and balancing your life.
We’ll be answering people’s questions to try and help everyone grow their business and live from what they love.
In this Live Session we discuss how a large following has allowed us to work directly with the biggest brands, to represent ourselves on a world stage, and get opportunities we never even imagine.
We led an honest conversation about being yourself and feeling comfortable with Social Media, and overcoming fears and concerns to grow your audience in a way you’re comfortable with.
We also shared our Top Tips on creating viral content, analysing some of our most widely viewed posts and recommending how you too can gain more visibility and audience with some simple tricks.
